The Blackland Prairie Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist™ program is excited to launch its first Junior Master Naturalist class for students in grades 3–5. The class meets twice monthly September through May.

Junior Master Naturalists discover nature by getting outside, making observations, exploring local ecosystems, and participating in hands-on activities led by trained Texas Master Naturalist volunteers. Throughout the year, participants will build naturalist skills while learning about the plants, animals, and habitats of North Texas.
